This study aims to find the effect of liquefaction on Group A Solid Bulk Cargo and its impact on ship stability. In addition, this study also aims to find a method that can be used to reduce the influence and impact caused by liquefaction, as well as to identify signs of cargo that can be liquefied. This study is a qualitative descriptive study. The objects of this study are various types of cargo included in Group A Solid Bulk Cargo. Data were collected through trials and literature studies. The results of this study indicate that liquefaction that occurs in Group A Solid Bulk Cargo is something that needs to be considered by the shipping world. Many accidents that result in loss of life and material are caused by the ignorance of the actors involved in handling Group A Solid Bulk Cargo
